I have been wanting to work with gobos for a while now. I cut a quick one tonight for some podcast stock photo ideas I had. So, this was what I came up with. I’m sure I’ll be using this effect much more.

I am looking forward to getting Bees from ‘Santa’. Do you think, for portrait styled shots like this, that a B400 and a B800 would be good to start? I am looking at the Digibee package with an upgrade to a B800 and a large softbox. What do you think?

That’s probably not a bad place to start. Especially if you are cramped for space. If you can, I’d spring for a set of grids too. I really enjoy using mine in a lot of my setups you see on here lately.
